Floyd Keerns of Danville, Illinois, age 81, died Wednesday afternoon, January 6, in Danville Care Nursing Home. He was born at Covington, May 22, 1900, the son of Milton and Sarah Jane Salmons Keerns. June 2, 1925, he married Mabel Julia Palmer, who died October 8, 1980.
  A member of Central Christian Church and Aim Hi Bible Class, he was a letter carrier for the Danville Post Office for 42 years. He was also a member of Danville Branch of National Association of Letter Carriers, a past master of Masonic Lodge, a 33rd degree Mason of Danville Scottish Rite of which he was past thrice potent master of the Lodge of Perfection, a member of York Rite bodies and past worthy patron of OES.
  Surviving are a sister, Ida K. Driscoll of Fort Madison, Iowa; and two brothers, Jennings Bryan of Florida and Manford Milton of Danville.  
  Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville. ā€“ thanks so much to ā€œSā€
